Playtime
Playtime is a smaller, more affordable choice in Kona, but don’t let the size or price fool you, they can catch fish! Experienced Captains Joe Taylor and Shawn Bessex have years of professional experience in Hawaii as well as Alaska. They know how to work the gear, get multiple lines in the water and keep an eye out for birds and baitfish, maximizing your chances of a nice catch. Playtime is great for families as they welcome kids.
As with many of the Sportfish Hawaii boats, this boat has a "Keep your catch" policy and we’ll be happy to cut as much table fish for you as you can reasonably eat while visiting the island. Marlin are encouraged to be tagged and released, however, they may be brought in for photos at the dock depending on the situation. Excess table fish are taken to the market.
