So far in August we have had some nice Blue Marlin reported as well as Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna). E Sea Ride Her caught a large Ono weighing in at 40lbs and on the same trip also caught a big Ulua (GT - Giant Trevally) which look prehistoric (see photo). Another multiple hook up trip reported was on the Magic with 3 Blue Marlin tagged and released. Photo is one of the tagged blues. We should continue to see the big Blues, Ahi and Ono into September.
Bass fishing on Kauai has been good for largemouth bass with bass caught and released in the 6 lb plus range reported by guide Tom Christy.
