| This tale comes from Howard of Clearwater Florida OK
fishing buddies the Marlin Mischief is THE boat if you are fishing out of Lahaina, Maui.
She is big and beautiful and if you were a huge blue you'd come up and check her
out! Mine did! It was the 4th Qtr. one minute to go. A slow day with zip and the harbor in
sight.FISH ON! 0 to 100 in one second.I grabbed the rod... you know the rest.A 300 pound
blue released port side. Captian's Rick and Sal are professionals without an
attitude. Thanks guys for making me feel at home on your boat.P.S. Ask to see the fishing
diary book. It is GREAT! My only regret is that I have no pictures to show of my fish. If
anyone has the Lahaina News including October 26, 2000 send it to me. |
| This photo and letter comes from Todd and Holly, who chartered Hinatea from Manele Bay on Lanai in August Dear Mike, I wanted to say thanks for helping my wife and I. We had a great time. Didn't catch any Marlin, but did catech 5 Mahi Mahi (one of them weighed 35 pounds). Also a 250 lb Bronze Shaler Shark! My back and shoulders were sore for 2 days. Thanks for the memories! |

This photo comes from Mike, who's Oahu charter was first cancelled due to the threat of a hurricane. Later is his vacation he was able to get out fishing on the Sea Hawk, where his daughter, Laura, caught a 140 lb Ahi. Mike says in addition to catching the nice Ahi, they saw many more Ahi throughout the day and everyone had a great time. Nice job Laura!! |
