For those who want the big
game excitement of trolling and the hands on action of jigging, the Sashimi offers a
unique combination trip. The trip is comprised of trolling for
Marlin, Mahimahi, Ono, Tuna, etc. as well as jigging off the bottom for Amberjack, Giant Trevally, Snapper, Uku, etc. Jigging is
primarily catch and release, and the boat can arrange for mounting and/or unique fish
prints. This is a great way to try two types of Hawaiian Style
fishing all in one trip.
Full and 1/2 day trips are
available, however
full days are recommended to have enough quality time for both trolling and jigging. Full
day trips start at 6am and run for about 8 hours. Half day trips are 4 hours.
Rates (plus 4% tax):
Full Day Private: $850 for up to 6 people, $90/person for additional passengers
over initial 6.
1/2 Day Private: $600 for up
to 6 people, $60/person for additional passengers over initial 6.
Note: Shared trips are not available for this
combo trip.
Transportation from Waikiki hotels available
for $50 flat rate for your group. Hawaiian Style BBQ lunch available for
$25/person.
